KENYA TOURISM AWARDS TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Kenya Tourism Awards 2025 Edition
1. Acceptance of Rules
By submitting your entry, you confirm that you are legally eligible to participate and that you fully agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and evaluation processes of the Kenya Tourism Awards (KTA).

2. Entry and Participation Fees
Each participant is required to pay a non-refundable entry fee of KES 5,000 per category at the time of submission.
This fee helps to cover:
- Administrative, vetting, and evaluation costs
- Independent jury assessment and verification procedures
- Platform and data management processes that ensure transparency and credibility Please note that:

- The entry fee is strictly non-refundable, including in cases of withdrawal or
3. Choosing the Right Category
You are encouraged to enter the category that best represents your core business or area of expertise.
- You may submit entries in more than one category, provided each submission is complete and accompanied by a separate application form and payment.
- Achievements or activities considered for judging must fall within the official qualifying period for the Awards.
- A chain, franchise, or group with multiple properties must enter each property or product individually if each wishes to be recognised separately.
- Once submissions have closed, entries cannot be moved or reassigned to a different
4. Withdrawing Your Entry
If you wish to withdraw your submission, you must notify the Kenya Tourism Awards
Management Team in writing no later than five (5) days after the official closing date for entries. After this period, withdrawals will not be accepted, and the entry fee will not be refunded.
5. Eligibility
If your business or organisation goes into administration, receivership, liquidation, or
bankruptcy after submitting your entry, it will automatically become ineligible for further consideration.
6. Review and Recognition
Submitting an entry does not guarantee shortlisting, recognition, or an award.
All entries undergo an independent vetting and review process by our evaluation team and jury panel, based on the official criteria and the five evaluation pillars of the Kenya Tourism Awards.
7. Jury Decision
The decisions of the Kenya Tourism Awards Management and Jury are final and binding. By participating, you agree to accept all decisions without dispute or correspondence.
8. Attendance at the Awards Gala
If your entry is shortlisted as a finalist or winner, you are expected to ensure that an official
representative — preferably a Senior Management Executive or Director — attends the Kenya Tourism Awards Gala Ceremony at the designated venue and date.
This presence helps celebrate your achievement and enhances visibility for your brand.
9. Right to Cancellation or Disqualification
The Kenya Tourism Awards (KTA) reserves the right to cancel, disqualify, or withdraw any entry at its discretion, without prior notice or explanation, if it is found to violate the competition rules or misrepresent information.

11. Data Protection and Privacy
