Alex Chamwada is the founder and CEO of Chams Media Ltd, a Nairobi-based communications consultancy. He is the creator of the award-winning shows Daring Abroad and The Chamwada Report, which highlight Kenyans abroad and key development issues, contributing to diaspora engagement, domestic tourism, and international arrivals. An influential journalist and media innovator, Alex has received numerous awards, including OGW, MBS, Media Council of Kenya Excellence Awards, and the Independent Journalism Trail Blazer Award (2023). He was also the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Kenya Tourism Awards 2024. His expertise in media and brand storytelling provides invaluable guidance to the inaugural Advisory Board and strengthens Kenya’s global tourism narrative.
